Biography |

As an interventional radiologist, Dr. Gaojun Teng has focused on innovation and development of new device and techniques initiated by clinical demands. He has successfully invented series of new stent coated with 125I radioactive seeds, which applied in esophageal cancer, biliary tract cancer, airway obstruction, and liver cancer with portal tumor thrombosis, etc. Thousands of such patients in the world benefit from these new treatments, with longer survival and better quality of life. As a pioneer of molecular imaging and functional imaging, he discovered several imaging-markers which leads the frontier of the radiology. Dr. Teng was elected as an Academician of Chinese Academy of Science in 2021, and fellow of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in 2022, respectively.

Dr. David C. Madoff is Professor of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging and Medical Oncology at Yale School of Medicine. His current administrative roles are Vice Chair for Clinical Research and Section Chief of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Madoff has a strong background in clinical care and has treated many patients with complex oncological problems. His clinical interests are wide-ranging, and he is particularly world-renowned for his work on preoperative portal vein embolization. Dr. Madoff is a leader in academic Interventional Radiology and serves on the editorial boards of high-impact international journals. He is active in many of the major radiological societies and was elected Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology in 2007, the American College of Radiology in 2015 and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe in 2018 based on his contributions to this field.

Dr. Uei Pua is a Senior Consultant in Radiology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. He completed medical training and specialist training in diagnostic radiology at the National University of Singapore and obtained his Master of Medicine. In 2008, Dr. Pua joined the University Health Network and Mt Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada as a clinical fellow in vascular and interventional radiology and later as a visiting fellow in the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA.
