Dr. Xu received her doctoral degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaine. Her research focuses on fundamentals of bioheat and mass transfer, multi-mode thermal immune technology innovation and clinical translation. She has published more than 250 research papers, conference proceedings and book chapters. ASME Fellow, AIMBE Fellow，IAMBE Fellow.
