Lisa X. Xu, Ph.D.

Chair Professor in Biomedical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Director of National Engineering Research Center of Advanced Magnetic Resonance Technologies for Diagnosis and Therapy (NERC-AMRT), Elected Member Chinese Academy of Medical Science,Chief Scientist of National Digital Medical Device Key Project, Yangzi Distinguished Professor of Chinese Ministry of Education,Outstanding Yougth Awardee of National Science Foundation. Dr. Xu received her doctoral degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaine. Her research focuses on fundamentals of bioheat and mass transfer, multi-mode thermal immune technology innovation and clinical translation. She has published more than 250 research papers, conference proceedings and book chapters. ASME Fellow, AIMBE Fellow,IAMBE Fellow.
