Dr Alex Tang had his fellowship training in VIR at the Hammersmith Hospital and Guy’s Hospital, London in 1998. 

He is the head of VIR, Subang Jaya Medical Centre, Malaysia and was the past president of APSCVIR 2008/2010, MYSIR 2018-2020, the Gold Medallist APSCVIR 2020, the International Honorary Member, CCI 2020 and organizing chairs of APCCVIR 2008 & APCIO2019.

His major interests are in interventional oncology, endovascular revascularisation, stroke salvages, and exploring new algorithms and protocols in the Angio-CT applications.
