Dr. Hai-Dong Zhu is a senior interventional radiologist and the Vice Chair of the Center of Interventional Radiology and Vascular Surgery at Zhongda Hospital, Southeast University in Nanjing, China. Dr. Zhu has been focusing on both clinical practice and research in interventional radiology (IR) since 2000. He further completed his IR training at Policlinico Umberto Iº, Sapienza, University of Rome, Italy.He is active and has extensive experience in various interventional procedures, such as interventional oncology, spinal intervention, and nonvascular intervention. As the key member, he performed the first Y-90 SIRT procedure in mainland China. He has published more than 40 papers and presented hundreds of research abstracts at international and national meetings.Dr. Zhu previously served as an Executive Member of APSCVIR. He currently is the Secretary General of CCI and a Member of CIRSE and many national or local IR societies
