Dr. Jianping Guo graduated from Peking University and completed his postdoctoral training and Instructor work at Harvard Medical School. Since 2018, he has been employed as a professor at the Institute of Precision Medicine, First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He has long been engaged in basic and translational research on the metabolic microenvironment and tumor drug resistance, with the aim of advancing precision cancer therapy.

Dr. Guo has been selected for the National Overseas Young Talent Program and the Guangdong Outstanding Young Talent Program. He is currently a member of the Tumor Pathophysiology Branch of the Pathophysiological Society. As (co-)first or corresponding author, he has published numerous research papers in top journals such as Science, Nature Cell Biology, Nature Metabolism, Nature Chemical Biology, Gut, and Science Advances. His work has been supported by several grants, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Key Research and Development Projects.
